About Antonio Maletta

A graduate in Economics from Bergamo University,  he is a member of the Italian Institute of CPAs. Antonio is one of the two Co-Founding Partners at HLB Brocca, Maletta & Partners, and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. His role includes shaping the firm’s strategy to meet the ever-changing needs of its clients and its people. With over 25 years’ experience he advises on all aspects of VAT and on International Tax; he regularly advises overseas clients on the  implications of doing business in Italy. Antonio is the Contact Partner for AMAVAT the special Group for VAT part of HLB International, the worldwide international network that Brocca, Maletta & Partners participates. Antonio is an expert of evaluations of companies and business units, including of extraordinary transactions (acquisitions, contributions, mergers, demergers) and capital increases; ordinary and extraordinary tax and corporate consulting. He holds and has held numerous corporate positions as both auditor, director and/or advisor. Among these being: ThyssenKrupp Electrical Steel Italia; ThyssenKrupp Group; White s.r.l.; DB Schenker (Germania); Atel AG (Svizzera Tedesca); Navblue - Gruppo Boing; KYMCO. Antonio is qualified in 1987 and, after a period in Ernst & Young, became partner in 1991. Antonio heads up the firm’s VAT International Tax Department.
